I am the middle child out of five siblings. I like to joke that if we were a hand, I’d be the middle finger.

No one has laughed at that joke since 1998.

I used to love Twitter like crazy (this is me). I tweeted every day for over 14 years, and becoming legacy-verified (RIP) was like being knighted by the Queen.

Most notably, I interacted with Johnny Marr (The Smiths), James Patterson, Jake Tapper, Ronan Farrow, Kara Swisher, Cory Booker, Michael Chabon, Amanda Palmer, Neil Gaiman, Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle), Steven Drozd (The Flaming Lips), Kronos Quartet, and Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails).

Also, one of my tweets ended up on BuzzFeed and I’m followed by @BarackObama. It was fun while it lasted

On the set of The Rum Diary, I discussed Hunter S. Thompson with one Johnny Depp. The conversation lasted a whopping 90 seconds.

For years I had dreadlocks. On more than one occasion I was mistaken for a celebrity and treated to free drinks and other perks.

To this day, I have no idea who they thought I was.
